Petroleum products prices in the country are adjusted on a monthly basis and preferably the first Friday of every month depending on how close is the first day of a particular month.

Paraffin unlike petrol and diesel has a longer distribution chain (oil company-filling station/wholesale outlet-shop-smaller shop-individual…) and therefore it is difficult to determine the various distribution costs to these levels and thus only regulated at wholesale level (oil company to service station)
What is the difference between Lesotho Petroleum and Petroleum Fund Lesotho? Open or Close
These are two different entities; the Lesotho Petroleum is a company based in at the Railway station area that sells various products including petroleum products while the Lesotho Petroleum Fund is a semi-autonomous entity established under section 37 of the Finance Order, 1988, and it is located at lenyora house and is responsible for the pricing of petroleum products in the country as delegated by the Honourable minister responsible for Energy.
